Chris George serves as the Team President and a key racer for Apogee ATP. He also plays a pivotal role as a sponsor through his company, Apogee Wellness. A former collegiate athlete, Chris has an extensive background in cross country and track and field, earning All-American honors and achieving national champion status during his athletic career. His expertise in Bio-Systems Integration (BSI) and chiropractic care is a tremendous asset to the team's overall wellness and performance.
Chris's wife is the co-owner of Apogee Wellness, and together they are proud parents of two children, Alyera and Tristin—with Tristin also being a runner on the team. Known for his big heart and dedication to both his family and the team, Chris's leadership is driven by a holistic approach to health and performance. His guiding principle comes from Nikola Tesla:
"Everyone should consider his body as a priceless gift from one whom he loves above all, a marvelous work of art, of indescribable beauty, and mystery beyond human conception, and so delicate that a word, a breath, a look, nay, a thought may injure it."
Chris's journey into BSI and Chiropractic Kinesiology began during high school cross country. After earning a cross-country and track scholarship to Butler Community College, Chris achieved All-American honors in cross country and the half-marathon. His experiences shadowing Dr. Allan Lindsley inspired him to change his academic focus from Pre-Med/Chemistry to Kinesiology.
Chris transferred to Adams State University, where he continued to run while graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Exercise Physiology. His time working with individuals with disabilities had a profound impact on him. Later, after a period supporting his family by working in the oilfields, Chris reignited his passion for BSI and moved to Overland Park, KS, in 2016 to pursue his dream of becoming a chiropractor. He now specializes in Bio-Systems Integration, Quantum Neurology, Acupuncture, and Neuro-Emotional Technique.
